Following the overwhelming referendum result which saw GPs reject the GP Contract 24/25 Contract proposals and their imposition the GPC has decided to hold a ballot of GPs for action.
The Chair of GPC ,Dr Katie Bramhall has released this short video explain the decison;
The ballot of GP contractors and partners will open on 17th June and close on 29th July 2024. If there is a positive vote for action this will commence from Thursday 1 August.
GPs who are members of the BMA can make sure the personal details held by the BMA are accurate – this ensures that they will receive an invitation to cast their vote- login here to check and update https://www.bma.org.uk
